You’re A Doll – A friendly Thank You or a great Mothers Day

A special message for your best friend or Mum

This card is part of my new two fold design featuring a message that reveals itself when opened.

This version is a quirky take on a little set of Babushka Dolls. A Babushka doll, a Matryoshka doll or a Russian nested doll, also called a stacking doll, is a set of dolls of decreasing sizes placed one inside the other. “Matryoshka” is a derivative of the Russian female first name “Matryona”, which was a very popular name among peasants in old Russia. The name “Matryona” in turn is related to the Latin, “mater” and means Mother. So the name is closely connected with motherhood. And that is were this little design began to flourish.

When first seen you see the very cute “mum” babushka doll which is mounted raised from the card surface. When opened your message is revealed as well as a little doll standing next to the “mum” doll.

Each card is printed on a beautiful textured white card and comes with a vibrant orange envelope.
