About the Project
The custom pattern created for this redesign was chosen due to it mimicking the logo style as much as possible. This creates a total look together so the logo or the new pattern does not look like it was created by two different design studios.
The pattern has a free form appeal to it while being sophisticated. Using a pattern also does not interfere with the logo while not suggesting that the salon only services one beauty treatment type. The pattern was also used in order to tie in with the more sophisticated logo developed. The previous design featured frangipani flowers so it was time to update to something that reflected current design trends.
The pattern features across most of the corporate identity artifacts. While the gift voucher developed focuses in on the reason behind buying a gift voucher – a gift. The illustrations developed where influenced by the free form nature and sophistication of the logo and pattern. The gift voucher design also features a custom made envelope that is designed to hold the gift voucher and a treatment list so they are packaged together and on hand for the lucky gift receiver.
Pixels Plus Paper also prints and constructs the custom gift voucher and gift voucher envelope developed for Bayside Beauty.
